We are love-union.de – a queer company that champions sexual self-determination, sexual wellness, and the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community.
For us, identity and sexuality belong together – and that is exactly where we start.
Our story
We were founded in 2023 as part of the takeover of the Erotic Cinema Center in Offenburg, which had been operating since 1984. Our goal was clear:
We wanted to move the industry away from its outdated, seedy image – toward an open, positive, and respectful approach to intimacy.
We renovated, reimagined, and consistently developed our product range.
Since 2024, we have also been present at numerous CSD events with our sales stand, bringing our products directly to the community.
2025 marked the next step: our own online shop.
Unfortunately, we had to leave our business premises on 01.03.2026, as the building is being demolished. Building a new location at short notice was not possible – so we are currently focusing entirely on our online shop and our presence at events.
Today we work from our warehouse in Lahr/Black Forest and remain where we belong: close to the community.
Our mission
We believe in a world where people can live their identity and sexuality freely, self-determinedly, and without shame.
Our mission is:
- to make the LGBTQ+ community visible
- to promote an open and positive approach to intimacy
- to create spaces where people feel understood and represented
love-union.de stands for more than just a name:
For the connection between identity and sexuality.
For the connection between online and offline.
And for the connection of all people.
What defines us
We are a small team of queer people and allies – and that shapes everything we do.

- We are part of the community we work for ourselves
Our founders are actively involved in the community and, among other things, helped shape CSD in Offenburg 2025 and co-founded the CSD association. This commitment is now also being continued in Lahr/Black Forest.
Quality & responsibility
We hold our products – and ourselves – to high standards.
- We carefully select our range and consistently part ways with products that do not meet our quality standards
- We ship our orders discreetly and, wherever possible, without plastic
- We make sure to conserve resources and work more sustainably
We also take a deliberate approach to production:
A portion of our products is manufactured in China, and we use sea freight to reduce emissions. At the same time, we are continuing to expand our range of more regional products – for example, with textiles from Europe.

Since our founding, we have already completed over 10,000 sales. In person, at CSDs, and online.
